In 2010 and 2017, the Kevork Tahta Armenian Community Sunday School was awarded two prizes for the preservation of Armenian identity and language in the Diaspora. These prizes have been awarded jointly by the Ministry of Diaspora of Republic of Armenia and the World Armenian Congress; Kevork Tahta Armenian Community Sunday School has been nominated as winner in the category “The best Armenian Educational Establishment in Diaspora”. The second prize has been awarded by the Education Ministry of the Republic of Armenian to Anais Der Hakopian for her painting that was entered in the competition entitled “In the world of Fairy Tales”. We would like to congratulate our students, parents, teachers, members of the parents’ committee, governors, trustees and all benefactors for their outstanding work.
